Overview:

A seasoned executive with a visionary mindset to lead and oversee our travel operations, including strategic planning such as operations management, team leadership, and workforce planning. This position is responsible for driving our company's growth, profitability, and success by overseeing our company's operational processes.

Requirements:

§  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

§  Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, with a track record of driving process improvement and operational efficiency.

§  Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

§  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

§  In-depth knowledge of operational processes and best practices across different functional areas.

§  Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

§  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

§  A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

§  Experience in risk management and business continuity planning.

§  Familiarity with relevant software and technology solutions to optimize operational processes.

Responsibilities:

§  Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the company's travel operations with the company's goals and objectives.

§  Operations Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Collaborate with the executive team to define operational targets, performance metrics, and improvement plans.

§  Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to a diverse team of travel professionals. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encourage professional development, and promote a customer-centric culture. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and evaluate team performance.

§  Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement streamlined workflows to enhance operational efficiency. Analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and recommend and implement effective solutions.

§  Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity. Implement measures to enhance operational resilience and address potential challenges or threats.

§  Financial Management: Develop and manage cost control, profitability, and sustainability. Monitor revenue streams, pricing strategies, and cost structures. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve financial performance.

§  Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Implement and monitor quality control procedures, customer feedback mechanisms, and service standards. Address customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

§  Supplier and Vendor Management: Develop relationships with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and tour operators. Negotiate contracts, secure favorable terms, and monitor supplier performance to ensure service excellence and cost efficiency.

§  Industry Knowledge and Compliance: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Maintain a solid knowledge base of travel industry developments and incorporate them into the company's operation.
