- Responsible for all Legal Aspect of the companies and ensuring compliance with all regulation
- Review and provide legal advice on Legal documents
- To ensure all company license are up to date and handling renewal of the license
- Review ongoing legal issues and advice management accordingly
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified appropriate courses of action have been taken
- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management
- Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements
- Review progress of outstanding legal issues and liaise with and manage external lawyers
- Formulate compliance check-lists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that all information required is provided accordingly
- Monitoring continuously regarding the compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly
- Performing Legal updates on new statutory, regulations
- Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities
- Manage and monitor company legal documentations
- Max 40 years old
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience ideally in a leading organization preferably from plantation company integrated with production factory
- At least 2 years in Legal Section Head (Supervisor) position
- Having experience in handling land acquisition and land certification
- Wide knowledge in Plantation Law, Land Law, Company Law, Investment Law, and General Corporate
- Wide knowledge and experience in submitting and renewing Company Business license, and other technical license/ permit, especially land and plantation permit
- Proven track record in contact negotiation, drafting, providing accurate and effective legal counsel
- Excellent English proficiency both oral and written
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills necessary for interaction with the Governmental institutions and negotiating parties
- Willing to travel according to the assignment
